Sheet² provides all the features you need to create a professional looking spreadsheet. It features a standard grid, which may be scrolled and zoomed. Text, numeric, financial or date/time values or formulas may be entered into the selected cell through the formula bar at the top of the screen.
Cell Formatting
Cells may be formatted using the format pages, which let you specify the font style, borders, text and background colors, the size of cells and text alignment within the cells.
Cell Types
Sheet² supports several core cell types, letting you specify how the data in cells is interpreted. By default, each cell is of type General. This means that the way the cell is displayed is automatically determined, but you can manually determine this by setting the cell type yourself.

The following cell types are supported:
- General
- Number
- Currency
- Percentage
- Date
- Time
- Text

Sheet² provides you several options for each data type. For example you may choose various option for numeric cells, such as the number of decimal places that will appear and how negative numbers are formmated as well as how large numbers are separated for clarity.

Multiple Worksheets
Sheet² provides support for multiple sheets within a workbook. When you press the worksheet button, worksheets are presented in a horizontally scrollable page, allowing you to quickly flick between all the worksheets in the workbook.
A worksheet may be selected simply by tapping on it. You can create new worksheets and delete or rename existing worksheets.
You can also create cross-sheet formulas and copy and paste between sheets.
Searching and Sorting
Sheet² provides the ability to search the worksheet for any phrase, number or other text, letting you easily scroll between search results. It is also possible to sort a range of cells by any row or column.
Import and Export
Spreadsheets may be transferred onto and off the phone, over a wi-fi network, using Windows Explorer (on a PC) or Finder (on a MAC) or any web browser. Spreadsheets may also be emailed, as attachments, from within the Sheet² application. Sheet² exports all workbooks in XLS format. It can import workbooks in either XLS format, XML Spreadsheet format or CSV format.
Integration with Cloud Providers
Sheet² can access spreadsheet files stored in Google Docs, Dropbox, Box.net, MobileMe iDisk and WebDAV-based servers. By simply entering the user credentials for the relevant service, you can turn on the ability to access files in these remote folders.
Sheet² will let you copy or move spreadsheet files to and from cloud storage and the iPhone local storage. Alternatively, you can directly open and edit spreadsheet files in cloud folders. Changes that you make may then be saved directly back to the cloud folder. Sheet² also enables you to create folders in cloud storage servers and move files between these folders.
Unlike the wi-fi import/export function, a wi-fi connection is not necessary. You can access spreadsheets in the cloud straight over the 3G cellular network. iPod Touch devices, however, will need a wi-fi connection, giving them access to the Internet.
Functions
Sheet² supports over 140 of the most popular functions used in other desktop spreadsheet applications.
