Files² turns the iPhone or iPod Touch into a file store, allowing you to easily transfer files between different computers, just like using a USB memory stick.
Use it like a USB stick
With the Files² application running, the iPhone may be mounted as a drive in Windows Explorer or Mac Finder, or any other WebDAV enabled client.
This makes it easy to share files between your desktop and the iPhone or iPod Touch, by simply dragging and dropping files from one window to another.
Use it as a file viewer
Once the files have been transfered into the application's file store, Files² may be used as a viewer, allowing you to open and view files of certain formats from within the application. Files² supports viewing of the following file types:
- Word documents (.doc, .docx, .pages)
- Excel spreadsheets (.xls, .xlsx, .numbers)
- Powerpoint presentations (.ppt, .pptx, .keynote)
- Text files (.txt, .c, .cpp, .m, .h, .xml)
- Image files (.gif, .jpg, .png, .bmp)
- PDF files (.pdf)

Use it to access remote storage
Files² will also let you transfer documents to and from your MobileMe iDisk, and will let you open and view documents
stored on the iDisk. You can also create folders and organize your files by moving or copying them between the folder structure of
your iDisk.
Additionally Files² will let you open and view the spreadsheets or documents stored in your Google Docs account. You can create folders
directly within your Google Docs space and you can transfer documents and spreadsheets to and from the Google Docs account.
