Files² is a tool, which makes it easy to use the iPhone or iPod Touch in order to store and view files, such as Microsoft Office or Apple iWork documents, PDF files, pictures and videos. Files² lets you view the files stored on the device as if it were another drive on your desktop computer and gives you access to the files stored in your MobileMe iDisk or Google Docs account. Files² includes the following features:

  1. Copy files to and from the device from a desktop


  2. Access the device as a drive from Windows Explorer on a PC or Finder on a Mac


  3. Access files from any web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Safari.


  4. Access files stored in MobileMe iDisk.


  5. Access documents and spreadsheets stored in Google Docs.


  6. View files of a number of different formats, including:


    1. Image files (.bmp, .jpg, .gif etc)
    2. Office files (.doc, .docx, .xls, xlsx, .ppt, .keynote, .pages, .numbers.)
    3. PDF files (.pdf)
    4. Text files (.txt, .m, .c, .cpp, .h, .xml)
