- Find out the iPhone or iPod Touch's IP Address as described in the Transferring files over wi-fi
- Press the Start button and select My Network Places
- In the left hand margin, press Add a network place.
- In the wizard that appears, press Next. In the following page, select Choose another network location and press Next.
- Enter the IP address, for example, http://{ip address}:8080 into the field and press Next. Then in the final page, press Finish.
A new window will appear showing the list of files that are stored on the phone.
Once you can see the files in a new window, you can copy and paste files to and from the iPhone or iPod Touch and the desktop computer. Ensure that the iPhone or iPod Touch does not turn itself off while you are trying to access its files.
