Editing plain text documents

If you edit a plain text document (i.e. a document, whose file extension represents a text-formatted file, such as .txt), then you will not have access to the full formatting features of Office2. Instead, you will be able to search text and undo and redo changes. You will not be able to change fonts, colors, alignments etc. When you save a text document, it will be saved back to a plain text format. You have the option of saving the file to the DOC or DOCX format. For more information, see Saving a document to a different location.
